Acute Care

Acute Care is the treatment for when you are experiencing musculoskeletal pain, whether from a specific injury such as a car accident or from an unknown origin. The goal of acute care is to halt the progression of a patient’s condition, reduce inflammation, generate rapid pain relief, and achieve some degree of functional improvement.

Depending on the severity of your injury or condition, acute care can be as little as one to two treatments or can involve as many as several treatments per week for several weeks. We may also give you instructions for home care that will aid in the healing process, thus reducing the overall time frame required to restore you to health.
