What is Acute Pain?

Acute Pain is a sudden onset and is usually a result of a clearly defined causes such as an injury. Treatment may consist of manual therapy, assisted stretching, or ultrasound, among others. Acute pain typically resolves with the healing of its underlying cause.

What is Chronic Pain?

Chronic pain is pain that persists for weeks or months and is usually associated with an underlying condition, such as arthritis. The severity of chronic pain can be mild, moderate, or severe. Pain can be difficult to diagnose, but we will work with you to determine the cause of pain and a treatment plan that is suitable for you.
